Phoenix Ashes
Phoenix Ashes have brought the house down in every venue they played. Bringing the same energy for 40 people in an attic in Indonesia, 100 people in an abandoned
warehouse in Nizhny Novgorod (RU), or for 15.000 people at the liberation festival in their home country of the Netherlands.
Their high energy songs tell you about injustice, staying true to yourself and standing up for what you believe in.
Combined with their positive vibes on stage, this band is a formula that has drawn many people to have seen them play live.
Playing over 150 shows all across the globe has led to a loyal fanbase across several continents.
Starting as a zeroes oriented post hardcore band, the sound of the band became more progressive over the years.
This is achieved by adding layered multi-vocals and electronic components to the music. This unique combination helps Phoenix Ashes
develop a sound of their own, giving that right “oomph” both live and on record. Their reputation has landed them to open for, and play festivals with some of
their all time favorite musical heroes such as Funeral for a Friend (US) or Enter Shikari (UK).
In 2019, they surprised the world with a fully acoustic anniversary show that sold out.
The live recordings of that show were released as an album and landed them spots on many festivals.
It would have been new chapter in the success of the band if it were not for the global pandemic.
The band went on a three year hiatus, until they started getting back together to write new songs again early 2023.
Their first official show after the hiatus was opening the Sunday stage of the brand new The Rock Circus Festival in November 2023, where they shared the stage
with Lorna Shore (US), Electric Callboy (DE), Halestorm (US), Black Veil Brides (US) and many acts to entertain thousands of visiting metal heads. In 2024, the world will see new music by Phoenix Ashes. In December of that year, the EP ‘The End of the World’ was released, receiving raving reviews.
